CRATING POLICY

When estimating crate charges please follow this procedure:

There is a 5 cubic foot minimum for crating and a 5 cubic foot minimum for uncrating.

If it is a flat crate add 4" to the length and width and make the flat dimension 6" (Example: The glass top is 32x32x1/4. The dimensions for pricing would be 36x36x6. Multiply these numbers then divide by 1728. This will give you the cubic feet. You must then round up to the nearest whole number.)
If it is a box crate add 4" to each dimension and then follow as usual.
When estimating charges, please be sure to understand that quotes are only as accurate. as the dimensions we are given. When the job is completed the charges will be based on the actual piece size figured with the formula above.
